A teenager is dead following a shooting in Kannapolis on Monday.
According to information provided from the Kannapolis communications director, first responders found Legend Imir Benjamin, 17, from an apparent gunshot wound on Coldwater Lane.
Reports indicated that it appeared to be an isolated incident. Information obtained during the investigation suggests that a red SUV was observed leaving the scene.
