Tuesday games …
LANDIS – Anabelle Chavis scored three goals as South Rowan crushed Concord 9-0 in South Piedmont Conference soccer on Tuesday.
The Raiders (9-4-1, 5-4) got one goal each from Cailynn Withers, Peyton Bell, Brooke Oehler, Avery Rawlings and Adeline Rodgers. There was one own goal.
Withers had four assists. Rawlings had two. Chavis had one.
Concord (6-7, 3-6) trailed 6-0 at halftime.
Margo Maples made six saves for the shutout and had an assist.

CHINA GROVE – Addison Broeckling had two goals and an assist to lead West Rowan to a 3-1 South Piedmont Conference win against Carson on Tuesday.
Amela Mehmedovic also scored for the Falcons (5-6, 3-6).
Olyvia Brown had two assists.
Carson is 2-10 and 0-9 in the SPC.

CONCORD – Robinson won 1-0 against Salisbury in South Piedmont Conference soccer on Tuesday.
There was an unusual finish to the game, as Salisbury (11-3, 6-3) received a red card in the final minute and had to play with 10. Robinson (11-1 8-1) was awarded a free kick from the 18 and Reagan Sherwood scored the only goal of the night with 25 seconds left.
The second-place Bulldogs finished a season sweep of the Hornets.

GRANITE QUARRY – Northwest Cabarrus stayed on top in the SPC with a 9-0 win against East Rowan on Tuesday.
It was 5-0 at the half. The Trojans are 10-0 and 9-0 in the league. The Mustangs are 2-12-1 and 2-7, with both wins against Carson.
