KANNAPOLIS — Concord beat North Rowan 22-7 in a first-round game in the F&M Bank Classic at Atrium Health Ballpark.
The Spiders produced a nine-run fourth inning.
Easton Tucker pitched three scoreless innings for Concord (1-4). He struck out seven.
North (0-2) used five pitchers.
Jaiden Brown had two of North’s seven hits. Ethan Prange scored two runs.
Prange, Justin Tyler, TJ Heggins and Joseph Keener had RBIs. Tristen Brown had a double.

KANNAPOLIS — South Rowan stayed undefeated by battering Robinson 15-2 in a first-round game in the F&M Bank Classic.
South took charge with a five-run first inning.
The Raiders (4-0) had 14 hits in five innings, including a homer by Lucas Cox.
Robinson dropped to 0-4.

GRANITE QUARRY — East Rowan stayed undefeated by coming back to beat Lake Norman, 9-7.
The Wildcats (2-4) led 5-1 going to the bottom of the fifth.
Noah Jacobsen had three hits for Lake Norman.
Harrison Ailshie had some uncharacteristic struggles on the mound, walking four, but Charlie Lefler relieved him in the fourth and got his first win for the Mustangs (6-0).
Sam Blackwelder homered and drove in four runs. Ailshie had two hits and scored three runs. Logan Bradley had two hits and two RBIs. Gavin Loftis had two hits. Ailshie and Bradley had doubles.
East scored five runs in the fifth.

MOUNT ULLA — West Rowan smacked five doubles and pounded Davie 13-3 in a five-inning game.
West had a five-run fifth to end the game early.
Maddox Moore pitched four innings for the win and struck out four. Dylan Carter finished up.
Moore and Cole Blevins scored three runs each for the Falcons (5-1), who have won their last five. Blevins and Brody Pope knocked in three runs each.
Carter Durant went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Luke Ponczka had two RBIs.
Moore, Durant, Blevins, Pope and Ponczka had doubles.
