Once upon a time, before 2025, American soil was a place of safety. A country where the oppressed people of the world fled tyrannical regimes and came here for freedom. This is where refugees of war and famine came to, for safety and opportunity to live the American dream.
In 1607, the first boatload came from northern Europe escaping poverty and searching for this dream
Trump changed the dreams!
Today, a year after 2025, America, the land of dreams, upward mobility, safety and freedom to experience what life is all about is becoming a nightmare, even for Americans.
President Trump was not a successful businessman with six bankruptcies under his big belt. He also appears to not be very educated, (no knowledge of American history, the Constitution, the three branches of American Government or world history), and he was certainly not a politician before 2015.
If he was asked to define or explain what fascism is, he may not be able to do so. He knows how to “rule” like a fascist, but does not have a clue as to who Mussolini, Franco or Hitler were, although he walks comfortably in their “soulless” shoes.
Certainly, the more educated people in his regime must know what is happening in this country. They will all leave with pockets full of dough, so what do they care?
If he was asked to describe a sadist, he probably could not identify the characteristics of a sadist even though he is one and is surrounded by them. A sadist is a person who enjoys inflicting cruelty on others. ICE?
Our fascists and sadists in the White House and Congress have created a domestic military operation that is clearly leading this country to a place where sane Americans do not want to go.
How do we explain Minneapolis? As we enter a new era of life in America with a fascist in the White House, and a regime of ICE sadists killing innocent people in Minneapolis and elsewhere if they — ICE — do not like your face, color or the placard you are carrying, then Minneapolis becomes the prototype for the rest of America.
Some may say this is a pessimistic view of life in America to come. But it is difficult to be optimistic when innocent Americans are getting killed by masked sadists for standing up for their constitutional rights and what they believe in — protecting friends and neighbors.
So, let us be realistic and look at Minneapolis and ask ourselves some tough questions.
Who or what is ICE? An appropriate acronym for an army of cold-blooded pseudo military trigger-happy sadists masquerading as law enforcement.
If they are out there to uphold the law, why the masks? One can see the venom pouring out of their eyes even if their faces are covered.
As we struggle through 2026, can we really put up with three more years of “NO KINGS” and “NO ICE” protests? And the other protests to come.
Minneapolis is just the beginning. LA, Chicago and Charlotte were the practice run. Which city is next?
A failed businessman is running this country. A man who does not know how to speak to reporters or show respect for a past president. And the fascists and sadists around him smile nicely and clap their hands gleefully. How did America sink to this level of dirt in one year?
Every citizen in Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota deserves medals for showing their country and the world how fascism is taking roots in America. They are showing the world either the demise of democracy or the birth of a new nation.
However, the Trump fascist/sadist regime moves forward, history will show that the unarmed people of Minneapolis, ordinary people carrying placards in freezing temperature, snow-covered streets, came out, stood-up and defended their fellow Americans and their country.
Thanks Minneapolis! You have set the example that “people power” is more powerful than “political power.” You fought and you won! You showed this country what to do and how to do it. Every patriotic American is grateful to you.
