FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Morehouse College won 76-68 at Fort Valley State on Tuesday in SIAC men’s basketball.
Morehouse is coached by Larry Dixon, a North Rowan and JC Smith graduate who was hired last June for his first head-coaching opportunity.
Morehouse (18-9, 18-5) has clinched a share of the SIAC East championship and has wrapped up the SIAC East’s top seed for the upcoming conference tournament.
Morehouse finishes the regular season against Spring Hill on Thursday.
The league tournament will be held in Morrow, Ga., March 4-7.
