WINSTON-SALEM — Wake Forest shot 34 percent on Tuesday, and that wasn’t going to get the job done against Oklahoma.
The Sooners whipped the Demon Deacons 86-68 at Joel Coliseum as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
Juke Harris (Salisbury) didn’t shoot great, 4-for-10 from the field, with 2-for-6 from 3, but he got to the foul line often enough to shoot a career-high 15 free throws. He made 12 free ones and finished with 22 points.
Harris had seven rebounds and two assists.
Harris, a 6-foot-7 sophomore guard, is averaging 19.9 points and 7.1 rebounds.
Oklahoma is 6-2. Wake Forest is 6-3.
