CONCORD — Salisbury’s girls tennis team stayed undefeated in the South Piedmont Conference with Wednesday’s 9-0 win at Concord.
The Hornets (4-1, 4-0) got singles wins from Meredith Williams, Lola Koontz, Anna Kate Goodman, Gabbi Fatovic and Campbell Aron.
Williams-Anna Kate Goodman and Koontz-Fatovic were winning doubles teams.
Concord (4-2, 2-2) forfeited at 6 singles and 3 doubles.
• The Hornets bounced back from Tuesday’s 6-3 non-conference loss to North Stanly. Williams and Koontz won their singles matches against the Comets. Williams-Anna Kate Goodman won a doubles match.

MOUNT ULLA — West Rowan stayed tied with Salisbury at the top of the SPC with Wednesday’s 8-1 win against Northwest Cabarrus.
The Trojans (2-3, 2-3) won only at 6 singles.
Autumn Yount, Laney Moore, Olyvia Brown, Lucy Moore and Finley Vanwassenhove took singles wins for the Falcons (4-0, 4-0). Laney Moore made a comeback after dropping the first set.
Yount-Laney Moore, Brown-Regan Eggers and Lucy Moore-Vanwassenhove were winners in doubles.

Carson (2-2, 2-2) won 5-4 at East Rowan (1-4, 1-3) in SPC action on Wednesday. Individual scores haven’t been posted yet.

South Rowan got its first win of the season on Wednesday by beating SPC opponent Robinson 8-1.
Sophie Steedley, Audrey Daniel, Kayleigh Draughn and Jayden Overcash won singles matches.
Steedley-Daniel and Kynlee Carey-Addison Farmer won doubles matches.
Robinson forfeited at 6 single and 3 doubles. The Bulldogs won at 4 singles.
