CHINA GROVE — Carson cruised to a 25-10, 25-6 and 25-13 win against Salisbury in Tuesday South Piedmont Conference action.
It was the first SPC match for the Hornets and the Cougars.
Carson (9-2, 1-0) got seven kills each from freshman Cambrie Perry and senior Katy Falkowski.
Chloe Webster served five aces. Alana Herring had four.
Rylee Hedrick had 19 assists.

FARMINGTON — West Rowan lost 25-16, 21-25, 25-17 and 25-21 to Davie in a non-conference match on Wednesday.
Davie is 4-1. West is 1-3.
Lydia Wilson led the Falcons with 18 kills. Raney Phelps had nine.
Anna Sawyer had three aces and three blocks.
Brinley Hiatt had 18 digs and 23 assists.
Wilson had 11 digs, while Ava Baxter had 10.
