SALISBURY — Two people were shot in their Salisbury home early Tuesday morning. One of them was just a juvenile.
According to reports from the Salisbury Police Department, both of the victims sustained injuries but were in stable condition after being transported to the hospital following the arrival of first responders.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Harrel Street around 1 a.m. Salisbury Police officers responded to calls of shots being fired. When they arrived they found a man, identified as Raheen Glascoe, 47, a resident of the home, outside. Glascoe told the arriving officers that there were shooting victims inside the house.
Keosha Smith, 39, was reportedly asleep when the shots rang out. She awoke after she was struck in the leg. The other victim’s information was not provided because of their age.
Investigators identified bullet entry points in the wall of the home. Initial reports did not have information about recovered shell casings. The entire incident remains under investigation.
