SALISBURY — Second Presbyterian Church will be celebrating its 123rd anniversary with multiple events taking place for the community to enjoy.
On Oct. 10, a pre-anniversary gospel singing will kick off the anniversary weekend with a time of music, fellowship and praise. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. at the church 732 Lincolnton Road, Salisbury.
A number of choirs and local artists are on the program. These include Sounds of Praise, Men of Praise, Unity N Praise, Messengers for Christ and Echoes For Christ.
The anniversary celebration service with a special anniversary and re-dedication is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Oct. 11 with a meal served afterward in the fellowship hall.
