Faith 4th of July Celebration — Now through – July 4
One of North Carolina’s largest Independence Day celebrations returns to the Town of Faith for a week of patriotic fun. Visitors can enjoy carnival rides, live entertainment, food vendors, family activities, community traditions and one of the region’s most anticipated fireworks displays. Festivities conclude on July 4 with the annual parade, live entertainment, contests and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Summer Fun Days at the N.C. Transportation Museum — July 7, 14, 21
The N.C. Transportation Museum continues its popular Summer Fun Days every Tuesday throughout July. Kids can enjoy themed hands-on activities, crafts, train rides and interactive experiences designed to make learning fun during summer break.
Discover Fun in Kannapolis — July 9, 11,16,17,18 and 31
Kannapolis’ Discover Fun series continues throughout July with free concerts, outdoor movies, theater performances and family entertainment. Visitors can enjoy live music, family-friendly performances, outdoor movies and special community events taking place throughout the month at venues across Kannapolis.
45th Annual China Grove Farmers Day Festival — July 17 and 18
Celebrate Rowan County’s agricultural heritage during one of the county’s summer traditions. The Farmers Day Festival features a parade, live entertainment, local food vendors, craft vendors, children’s activities, carnival rides and plenty of small-town charm for visitors of all ages.
History on Tap Presented by the Historic Salisbury Foundation — July 23
History on Tap returns with another opportunity to explore Rowan County’s rich history while enjoying local craft beer and guided tours of historic Downtown Salisbury. Registration is required.
The 8th Annual Dancing on Depot Street Summer Concert Series — July 25
Downtown Cleveland continues its popular summer concert series with a free outdoor evening of live music, dancing, food trucks and family-friendly entertainment. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxing summer evening in the heart of Cleveland.
