• Vandalism occurred in the 100 block of South Jackson Street between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. on July 23.
• Motor vehicle tampering occurred in the 200 block of Castlewood Drive between 1:10 a.m. and 1:17 a.m. on July 27.
• Assault occurred in the 500 block of East Innes Street between 4:15 a.m. and 5:38 a.m. on July 27.
• Possession occurred in the 700 block of I-85 South between 10:44 a.m. and 11:03 a.m. on July 27.
• Larceny occurred in the 500 block of Old Concord Road between 6 p.m. on July 26 and 11:15 a.m. on July 27.
• Child abuse was reported in the 200 block of Castlewood Drive between noon on July 10 and 12 p.m. on July 12.
• Lost property was reported in the 1000 block of Keystone Drive between 6:13 p.m. on July 6 and 5:30 a.m. on July 27.
• Possession occurred in the 700 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South between 12:30 a.m. and 12:35 a.m. on July 28.
• Charles McInnis, 69, was arrested in the 700 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South and charged with simple possession of schedule II, III, IV, V, VI controlled substance on July 28.

• Property damage occurred at NC Finishing Lane (Spencer) between 11 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. on July 26.
• Burglary occurred at Dunns Mountain Church Road (Salisbury) at 9 p.m. on July 24.
• Possession and distribution of child pornography was reported at Boxwood Court Kannapolis between 4:30 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. on July 26.
• Larceny occurred at South Arlington Street (Salisbury) between 9:20 p.m. and 9:21 p.m. on July 26.
• Narcotics possession occurred at Cedar Avenue (China Grove) at 9:51 p.m. on July 26.
• James Brandon, 46, was arrested on July 26 and charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule III controlled substance, possesson of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Nichole Candace, 39, was arrested July 26 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance of a penal institute premises, and simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.
