Let’s start by revisiting a point I made last time regarding Major League Baseball (MLB). I explained how three players on the San Francisco Giants roster were threatened by MLB with penalties during Pride Night at one of their games last week. The players wrote Bible verses on their hats to inform folks about the real meaning of the rainbow. MLB brass did not like it one iota. Once the DOJ caught wind of the league’s threat, an immediate investigation was launched into possible religious discrimination and civil rights violations. One U.S. senator had already started the wheels in motion to call the MLB commissioner before a committee with their antitrust exemption on the line. The front office quickly backed down. The commissioner said the players would not face any fines or suspensions. Again, players never were called on the carpet when the whole fake BLM messages could be displayed.
Note the actions taken, and not taken. The woke left threatened companies, individuals, groups and our way of life. Once the hoax and bull fecal matter were figured out, bluffs were finally called, hypocrisies and lies continue to be exposed. Real, and possibly real, lawsuits to legally push back have been utilized to right a lot of the wrongs; more are coming.
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are on a winning streak. The DSA mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, endorsed three of his fellow communists for NYC’s congressional seats, and will be sitting in Congress come November. They swept all three primaries even taking out two incumbents. The Big Apple doesn’t see the end to its demise. The citizens have bought into the “everything free” message, but yet haven’t figured out that system does not work, nor will it survive. This is a classic example of what happens when schools fail to teach real and meaningful history. More people and companies will continue leaving for a better way of life and more economic opportunities under better conditions. Get ready my North Carolina friends, we will be seeing more and more of them around here, for better or worse. I, personally, can speak from experience. My wife is originally from Brooklyn, but moved here when she was in elementary school. However, I do remind her from time to time she had to come south to find me…just sayin’.
Are you noticing Roy Cooper’s television ads for his U.S. Senate campaign have started? He claims he will take on insurance companies on our behalf. Really? As governor, his “most significant healthcare achievement was successfully working to expand Medicaid.” With the rampant fraud unfolding each and every day across the country, including here, he didn’t bother to find and fix what’s already there. He found it easier to just throw more tax dollars at the problem. I doubt he has the know-how to actually clean up a system oozing fraud and waste, otherwise, why didn’t he do anything about it during his many years in Raleigh as attorney general and governor? Cooper is definitely an empty suit.
No doubt about it, the Democrat party has changed drastically. It’s no longer a mainstream party now that socialists, communists and progressives run the show. Have you noticed that there have been no so-called moderate Democrats other than Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) that has called them out? It doesn’t do any good as he, and any other leftover moderate, are under their control. Minority Senate Leader Chuck Shumer (D-NY) is a prime example why he’s an imbecile. Poll after poll shows Democrats, Republicans and Independents across the nation support voter I.D. in large numbers, but he has stonewalled and won’t allow it. He claims it will suppress voters, but hasn’t shown one spec proof to that effect. You notice how politicians once in office feel all of us work for them, when, in fact, the opposite is fact and truth. They work for US! Term limits — across the board — should already be the law for all them. Put it on the ballot in all 50 states, I believe it will win in a landslide in all of them. Ultimately, though, should you vote for a Democrat in today’s environment, you support those calling the shots — the socialists and communists.
In case you’re not following the big news in the sports world, the FIFA World Cup is playing out across the country now. The championship will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, home of the NFL New York Giants. We certainly hope the United States team advances, but still has a lot of work ahead of them before July 19. Also, various news sites are interviewing and showing the multitudes that are here from Europe where soccer is definitely their national pastime. I’ve seen numerous clips posted by their respective nation’s team fans after getting a real taste and experience of what America has to offer. They are in awe of the abundance and variety we are used to, and take for granted. Better yet, they admit they have been lied to for years by their political class and media about us. It’s been nothing like what they were led to believe. Maybe when they return, we’ll start hearing about changes for the better happening over there; they definitely need it.
