KANNAPOLIS — The Kannapolis Girls Who Walk are also the Kannapolis girls who shop with the second vendor market for the walking club this Saturday, June 6.
The Kannapolis Girls Who Walk, KGWW, are a group of women that started as a walking club in 2025 and have grown into a book club, crafting and market community that meets weekly. They celebrated their first year as a club with the first vendor market in January.
The second iteration features over 70 vendors, which is more than the first market, and will be hosted in the Kettle Room at 325 McGill Ave NW in Concord from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.
All of the businesses featured at the market are local women-owned businesses ranging from baked goods to personal fitness to handmade goods. The event will also feature merchandise for KGWW made specifically to release for the event.
Drinks will be available from Cabarrus Brewing Company, which is located in the same building as the venue.
There will also be a walk with the club earlier in the day starting out at 9:15 a.m. from Editions Book Store and Coffee Shop at 217 South Main Street in Kannapolis. The group walks roughly two miles and is open to all women interested in joining.
Other events can be found on KGWW’s social media including future markets and other walks.
