Unbeknownst to most of America earlier this week, another plan was underway to assassinate President Trump. There would have been countless other fatalities other than his had it been deployed. Fortunately, the FBI became aware of such a plot and caught it in time. All of this was going to happen on the White House lawn for the UFC 250 fight. Many military personnel were invited guests sitting in the stands along with the president. As it turns out, the alleged mastermind behind the plot, that included several other accomplices across the nation, is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. His “…visa had expired in 2001. He remained in the country, and the Obama Administration granted him deportation relief in 2014 through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.” He, and the others, seem to have been radicalized by the left-wing propaganda and ideology distributed and supported by the Democrat party and its leaders. See the pattern starting? Barack Obama definitely had a hand in this one.
Of course, Obama has been busy in Chicago attending the opening of the Barack Obama Library. If you’ve seen any pictures of the structure, it’s a very poor example of architectural design trying to be creative and cutting edge, but failed on both counts. Nearby residents are on record as speaking out on how it’s not welcome in their neighborhood. Already generating a major controversy is the fact the costs far exceeded what was originally planned for. Initially thought to be built for a little over $300 million, the final cost topped $800 million — and it’s still an eyesore. Contractors and subcontractors have not been paid yet, some are out millions. Apparently, after fleecing America during his tenure, he’s now fleecing hard-working folks who helped build it. Pay the people, Barack!
Speaking of Obama, he decided to make an appearance on a friendly platform when Trump was announcing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Iran. If you view it online, he still possesses the annoying habit of answering a question that hasn’t been scripted for him in advance by pausing after every other word; it takes forever to get an answer. When he does this, he’s looking at the floor. His body language tells it all. When he expressed his views on the MOU, he had the audacity to state whatever the result would be at the time, it wouldn’t be any better than the plan he and his Secretary of State, John Kerry, put together. Let’s see — Trump isn’t sending $400 million cash on pallets via military transport in the middle of the night. That money was then given to Iran’s proxies to carry out deadly attacks around the globe. Whereas they claimed Iran was going to allow outside inspections regarding their nuclear bomb production if given 24 days notice; what could go wrong? Trump isn’t going to give them 24 seconds. Obama is delusional if he thinks his plan was on par with what Trump just did, he needs to go back into hiding. His domestic policies were bad. His economic policies were bad. His foreign policy was a disaster.
Another Democrat who doesn’t know when to get off the stage is Hillary Clinton. News clips are circulating showing her being interviewed on a MSM network during Biden’s term. When questions and doubts about his cognitive skills in obvious decline were on full display, she’s cheering him on with full speed support. Now, she’s out in an interview stating it was a mistake he ran again because any other Democrat could have beaten Trump. She didn’t and Kamala didn’t. In other words, she lied again, but, who’s counting?
As we continue to hear more and more states become involved with epic fraud going on with social benefits, as I’ve said before North Carolina is not exempt. The latest out of Raleigh is about unemployment benefits. The total thus far is $50 million having been paid during April 2021 and March 2025. The point here is most of the fraud happened under Roy Cooper’s administration, and the rest under fellow Democrat Gov. Josh Stein. Cooper should be addressing this before it comes up in a Senate debate. I am confident there was much more fraud under his watch that could be identified and reported on as well. Why isn’t it?
I’ve mentioned in previous commentary about the Cabarrus County Board of Education and its failure to protect kids at school and bathroom privacy. They have ignored parent concerns while refusing to stop allowing males to use a girls bathroom. They were told they would be subjected to a probable lawsuit though many similar ones are already underway elsewhere. In other words, they did not have the courage to lead, they took the easy way out by not doing anything. Well, that poor leadership has caught up with them. The board may need to reconsider who they use for legal counsel. Now, the U.S. Department of Education is looking to see if Cabarrus County schools violated Title IX guidelines. Depending upon how it ends, they may be on the hook for far more than what they ignored before.
We all know how the NFL and NBA still embraces woke and racist ideology. Let’s not forget Major League Baseball (MLB) is a part of that as well. There are three players with the San Francisco Giants that inscribed Bible verses on their hats during a game while the league celebrated Pride Night this week. As a result, MLB has threatened to discipline them. Naturally, the league “allowed political messages in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.” Fortunately, the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division has launched a probe into MLB and their potential of practicing religious discrimination.
Finally, congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes for winning the 2026 Stanley Cup! I don’t claim to be a big hockey fan. I don’t even know all the terms or rules, but we had a common interest when we watched this year. For a former player that won a championship with the Hurricanes, Rod Brind’Amour, returning as coach and duplicate a very difficult feat is special. Did you see Raleigh fans destroy public and personal property unlike the NY Knicks fans after they won the NBA Championship? Who knew a violent sport could be so calming?
