Rowan County Senior Democrats will meet on Tuesday, April 21, at 1 p.m. at RCDP Headquarters, 1504 W. Innes Street, Salisbury, and will address the question “What is Pete Hegseth’s Religion?”
“This is a timely question as regards the recent actions of the U.S. defense secretary,” noted a release from the organization.
Retired Lutheran pastor Geoffrey Hoy will lead the discussion. Hoy is also chair of the local Democratic Party.
“Rowan County Democrats are committed to providing information to voters that will increase their awareness of local, state and national issues,” the release noted. “A primary goal of the RCDP is to provide opportunities for voters to become more knowledgeable as they decide which candidates have earned their vote come the November midterm elections.”
