Sign-ups for Rowan County American Legion baseball will be held on Sunday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at Harold B. Jarrett Legion Post 342 on Lincolnton Road.
Sign-ups are downstairs.
Players should bring their driver’s license and insurance information.
If you don’t have a driver’s license, bring original birth certificate.
A parent or legal guardian needs to be present to sign insurance forms.

SA:ISBURY – Salisbury’s boys team moved a step closer to the South Piedmont Conference championship by beating Concord 8-1 on Monday.
The Spiders (6-5, 6-4) won at No. 4 singles.
AJ Jarrell, Bryant Davis, Henry Walser, Owen Hammill and Luke Yang won for the Hornets (12-1, 11-0) in singles. Jarrell-Davis, Walser-Aiden Moss and Hammill-Luke Fowler were winning doubles teams.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER
MOUNT PLEASANT – Mount Pleasant’s girls topped East Rowan 3-0 in non-conference soccer on Monday.
Mount Pleasant is 6-4.
Addie Lambert made 17 saves for the Mustangs (1-10-1).

East Rowan announced a commitment by Noah Dillon to the Johnson & Wales soccer program.
