WHEELING, W. Va. – Tee Harris, former East Rowan standout, announced that he has entered the transfer portal.
He has one more year of college eligibility.
Harris, a 6-foot-7 forward, played three seasons for the Wheeling Cardinals, a Division II program that competes in the Mountain East Conference.
Harris helped Wheeling rise to 19-9 and a tie for third in the conference in 2025-26.
Harris turned in a strong junior season, averaging 14.4 points and 6.4 rebounds while playing 28 minutes per game. He was the team’s No. 3 scorer. He was a 50-percent shooter from the field and 72-percent from the foul line. He wasn’t a great 3-point shooter, but he was a threat with 40 made 3s on 30-percent shooting.
Harris led Wheeling in rebounds and blocks (49). He had 37 steals and 35 assists.
As a sophomore, Harris averaged 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.
As a freshman, he got 16 minutes per game and averaged 7.3 points and 4.0 rebounds.
Harris has ties to North Carolina and Virginia, as well as West Virginia, so it will be interesting to see what’s next for him.
