SALISBURY — East Rowan’s girls golf team won another South Piedmont Conference match on Thursday, as all the teams gathered at McCanless for a “Pink Out” cancer-fighting match to wrap up the regular season.
East shot 118, with all five Mustangs finishing in the top 10.
Kaley Pfister was medalist with a 37. Cailey Ludwig finished second at 39.
East’s third scorer was Izzy Stepp at 42. She finished fourth. Jaelyn Earnhardt shot 43 and was in a tie for fifth. Ashlyn Pfeiffer shot 45 and was tied for eighth.
Margo Maples shot 40 and finished third. She led South to a runner-up finish at 138. South’s Sara Culbert tied for eighth at 45.
Robinson’s Ava Mason was tied for fifth at 43. Northwest Cabarrus golfer Carson Verburg shot 44 for seventh place.
Lola Koontz shot 47 and led Salisbury (150) to a third-place finish.
Northwest was fourth at 158. Concord was fifth at 159. Carson shot 161 for sixth. West Rowan shot 167 for seventh.
