DAHLONEGA, Ga. — Mary-Paige King had the best tournament in Catawba women’s golf history in the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, shooting 2 68s and finishing 3-under for 54 holes.
Hannah Waddell (East Rowan) was the second scorer for the Indians.
Waddell shot 75-78-78 — 231 — one shot better than she did in the season-opening Eckerd Invitational.
Catawba was 14th, but had a history-making tournament in a strong field.
