MONROE — South Rowan’s volleyball team swept Union Charter Academy on the road in a non-conference match played on Monday.
South (10-4) won 25-19, 25-21 and 25-16 against a 12-2 team.

MOORESVILLE — East Rowan won a marathon non-conference match at Lake Norman on Monday, pulling it out 25-16, 24-26, 26-24, 23-25 and 15-11.
