CHAPEL HILL — East Rowan’s volleyball team has had a busy start to the season.
The Mustangs (3-2) played on the road on Friday, sweeping Southwestern Randolph. Alli Corl had 14 kills and five aces. Jordan Dry had 19 digs. Jacee Eudy had 27 assists.
East went 1-2 in a tournament in Chapel Hill on Saturday. East’s win was against Felton Grove, a new school in Wake County. Addison Barrier had 18 assists in that match. Corl had 16 kills, while Leigan Lusk had 12 kills and four aces.
The Mustangs lost to East Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
Corl and Lusk were named to the all-tournament team.
The Mustangs were back in action on Monday against North Stanly.
