SALISBURY — East Rowan returns the top golfers from a good 2024 team, including Rowan County Player of the Year Kaley “KP” Pfister.
The Mustangs shot 118 on Thursday at McCanless as East and South Rowan did some fine tuning before the start of South Piedmont Conference matches.
Pfister led the way with a 35. Jaelyn Earnhardt shot 40, while Caley Ludwick was the third scorer with a 43. Ludwick was one stroke better than teammate Izzy Stepp.
Margo Maples shot 47 to pace South (149). Sara Culbert shot 48, and Sawyer Sherrill shot 54.
The first SPC match is at Rolling Hills next Tuesday.
