The letter from Clyde (“On monuments and museums”; Salisbury Post-Opinion, July 5) reminded me of an article appearing recently in the Wall Street Journal: “U.S. Cities Dust Off Statues They Hid Away in 2020” (WSJ-U.S., June 3, 2026). Seems some cities are rethinking their knee-jerk actions of a few years ago.
