
KANNAPOLIS — Curious about how Kannapolis’ city government works? Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at the police and fire departments or the water treatment plant? Want to learn how the city’s budget is developed and how local decisions are made?
Kannapolis 101 is a free, hands-on program that gives residents an inside look at city government. Participants will meet city staff, tour facilities and learn how the many departments work together to serve the community.
The nine-week program begins Tuesday, Sept. 15, and classes are held each Tuesday, from 6-8:30 p.m. at various city facilities. Space is limited and priority is given to Kannapolis residents. Apply today!
