A recent op-ed on elections appeared in the Post. While I disagreed with many of the writer’s positions, I will only speak to one of the inaccurate assertions. The writer claimed that State Auditor Dave Boliek is the only Republican on the Council of State. That is incorrect.
Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler is a Republican.
State Treasurer Brad Briner is a Republican.
Commissioner of Insurance Mike Causey is a Republican.
Commissioner of Labor Luke Farley is a Republican.
And, yes, State Auditor Dave Boliek is a Republican.
