GREENSBORO – West Rowan softball coach Jimmy Greene coached the Region 4 team that won the BODYARMOR State Games this week.
There were six regional all-star teams in the tournament. Region 4 was 3-0 in the event. The tournament concluded on Wednesday.
The Region 4 team included three West Rowan Falcons – Reese Poole, Raney Phelps and Tinley Summit.
Poole is a rising senior who has been one of the county’s best players for several years. She is an infielder committed to UNC Greensboro. Phelps is a rising senior outfielder, who hasn’t committed yet, but will definitely be a college player. Summit is a rising sophomore who has a chance to be a star for the Falcons.
