That’s a wrap on another great school year! I just want to give a personal shout-out to my colleagues in the Rowan-Salisbury School System. We’ve climbed a lot of mountains, forged a lot of paths, and persevered through the great snowstorm of 2026. We have mentored, educated, sheltered, protected and dedicated our time and talent to each other and to our students. We have listened to the complaints and to the praises. Our patience has been tested and our compassion has been shared. To the parents who support us, the administrators who believe in us, the students who trust us, and the community that champions us; we treasure you. To my RSS colleagues, be sure to enjoy the summer and use it for traveling, relaxing, connecting and making memories. After all, being an educator is not merely a job, but an immense calling on our lives. A calling we must value as much as the little lives we touch 185 days of the year. Bravo, to you!
