JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Caldwell Tech was eliminated from the D3 Junior College World Series on Sunday.
The seventh-seeded Cobras (36-16) loss 12-2 to Gloucester (NJ) on Saturday. It was 2-all before a three-hour rain delay, but Caldwell struggled after play resumed and the New Jersey team, the defending national champs, had a big inning.

The Cobras got down 13-2 against North Essex on Sunday. Caldwell made a comeback but lost 13-9 to end the season.
Carson grad Daxton Savage, a Lenoir-Rhyne recruit, had a strong season for the Cobras.
