Wednesday matches …
SALISBURY – Salisbury’s boys tennis team wrapped up a perfect South Piedmont Conference season by beating Carson 8-1 on Wednesday.
AJ Jarrell, Bryant Davis, Henry Walser, Aiden Moss, Owen Hammill and Luke Yang won singles matches for the Hornets (15-2, 14-0).
Jarrell-Davis and Walser-Moss were winning doubles teams. Carson (9-6, 8-6) won at No. 3 doubles. The Cougars finished in the top half of the league.

GRANITE QUARRY – East Rowan took an 8-1 win against South Rowan in South Piedmont Conference tennis on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (7-8, 7-7) were awarded forfeits at 5 and 6 singles and 3 doubles against the short-handed Raiders (2-12, 2-12).
South’s win was by freshman Coen Overby at No. 1 singles.
Will Kesler, Isaiah Garza and William Mozingo won singles matches for the Mustangs. Thomas Stokes-Kesler and Garza-Mozingo won doubles matches.

MOUNT ULLA – West Rowan won 6-0 against short-handed Robinson on Wednesday in South Piedmont Conference boys tennis.
Callen Batts, Phineas Mixson, Ryan Branham and Caleb Kimbrough won the contested singles matches.
Batts-Mixson and Kimbrough-Mason Gebosh won doubles matches for the Falcons (5-9, 5-9).
The Bulldogs are 0-15 and 0-14 in the SPC.
