ROCKWELL — Approximately 1,000 people are without power after a crash in Rockwell on Wednesday morning caused damage to utility lines.
The crash, which involved a tractor-trailer, occurred in Rockwell in the 200 block of East Main Street at approximately 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The crash damaged utility lines, causing an outage in the eastern area of Rockwell and south of the town.
As of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Duke Energy still listed the outage as active, with an estimated restoration time of 10:45 a.m.
