CHINA GROVE — Carson stayed on top in the South Piedmont Conference on Tuesday with a 25-10, 25-12 and 25-9 sweep of Concord.
The Cougars (16-2, 7-0) have gotten 209 kills from Reese Joyner, 180 digs from Alana Herring and 465 assists from Rylee Hedrick.

MOUNT ULLA — East Rowan setter Jacee Eudy has reached the 2,000 assists milestone for her career.
Eudy has 406 assists this season. Alli Corl has 237 kills. Jordan Dry has 263 digs.
East (10-9, 5-2) took a 22-25, 25-20, 25-14 and 25-21 SPC win at West Rowan on Tuesday and is in third place. Dry was named the player of the match.
The Falcons (4-6, 4-3) have been led in kills by Lydia Wilson with 146.

CONCORD — South Rowan won 25-23, 25-17 and 25-10 at Robinson for a victory in the SPC on Tuesday.
South (11-4, 6-1) stayed in second place in the standings, one game ahead of East and one behind Carson.
Cressley Patterson had 11 kills and three blocks. Clancy Street had eight kills. Avery Fisher had seven kills and five aces.
Raegan Shell had 14 assists.
Campbell Withers had 17 digs. Withers reached 1,500 career digs in Monday’s win at Union Academy.

CONCORD — Nortthwest Cabarrus swept Salisbury on Tuesday for its first win in the SPC. The Trojans (5-8, 1-6) won 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17.
The Hornets are 3-8 and 0-7. The Hornets took on Lexington in a non-conference match on Wednesday.
