CHINA GROVE — East Rowan’s girls golf team won another South Piedmont Conference match on Tuesday, edging South Rowan by three strokes at Warrior.
East shot 133 (top three scorers, nine holes). South shot 136.
Kaley Pfister shot 41 to lead the Mustangs. She tied for third individually with South Rowan’s Sara Culbert and Margo Maples.
East’s Jaelyn Earnhardt was sixth with a 44. East’s Cailey Ludwig and Ashlyn Pfister shot 48s, tying for seventh and providing the decisive third score.
Robinson’s Ava Mason was medalist with a 39. Northwest Cabarrus’ Carson Verburg shot 40.
