CONCORD — Northwest Cabarrus scored with 14 seconds left to beat East Rowan 12-6 in Thursday’s jayvee football game.
Braylen Yates had a 12-yard scoring run for the Mustangs (2-3). The Trojans are 5-1.

CONCORD — Brooks Hunter threw two touchdown passes in South Rowan’s 21-16 win against Concord in a Thursday jayvee game.
Hunter connected with Kaiden Fisher for 40 yards and Jeb Ritchie for 35.
Zayne Beaston had an 11-yard scoring run for the Raiders (1-3).
Caleb Stirewalt kicked the PATs.
Case Beaver had two tackles for loss, and Houstonn Polston and Willie Carlberg shined on defense for the Raiders.
Concord is 0-5.

CHARLOTTE — A.L. Brown won 16-0 at Berry Academy in a jayvee game played on Thursday.
The game was shortened by weather in the third quarter.
Defensive end William Ryerson, running back Johnathan Roundtree, tight end Ryan Wolford and quarterback Jamaree Russell were standouts for the Wonders (2-3).
Berry is 1-4.
