SPENCER — North Rowan’s boys soccer team romped 9-1 against Quality Education Academy of Winston-Salem on Monday.
Osmar Nava had a hat trick for the Cavaliers (1-6), who will start Yadkin Valley Conference play against Gray Stone on Wednesday.
Mohammed Al’Shamam scored two goals. Jonathan Lopez had a goal and two assists. Oscar Martinez, Samuel Diaz and Aarath Velasquez scored a goal apiece.
It was the first match of the season for QEA.
